PTA Meeting Minutes - October 3, 2005

The meeting was called to order at 3:15 pm with 4 members present.

Fall Fundraiser - The purpose of this meeting was to double-check the fundraising order forms returned by students and to count the money collected in preparation for submitting the order to the catalog company. Additional order forms may come in this week. Marcia will check those forms and submit the entire order to the catalog company.

Thanksgiving Dinner - It appears that it is not a problem to hold the annual Thanksgiving dinner even though we now have a hot lunch program. This year, instead of seeking donations of food items via the classrooms, the PTA will cover the cost of the food. The PTA will seek donations of pies and ask for volunteers to cook the purchased turkeys.
