Many support activities and services are available for students that need extra help. There is extra help in each classroom and in the resource room that may be offered if a student is having difficulty. Teachers and parents can also refer students to the Local Education Planning Team. A planning team can have a variety of additional members but will usually include the class teacher, a parent, the special education teacher and other school district professionals. Our Local Education Planning Team will meet with teachers and parents as needed to offer support, make suggestions, and as a team, may sometimes decide to seek additional information about how a student best learns.
