Marlow Planning Board -- June
12, 2007 Unapproved minutes of meeting
Present:
Joe
Feuer (Chairman), Bob Allen (representative from Selectmen), Lyle Handy,
Sr., Bonnie Hazelton, Carla Kirsh, and Michael Puschaver
Absent:
Mark Lanier
The
meeting was called to order at 7:10. The minutes from May 8, 2007 were
read and unanimously approved with the following corrections:
-
“Jacqui
Fay” was the person contacted by a realtor regarding the Hathaway
Property, not Joe Feuer.
-
“of
the area” was added to the statement regarding the work being done
at the Old Gee Mill Site.
Reports
from Committees/Officials:
-
Mr.
Allen reported that the Marlow Selectmen had contacted Ken Kozyra
(who represents US Cellular) and asked him to come to a
Selectmen’s meeting to address some of the issues of the projected
Cell Tower -- including but not limited to projected coverage, fall
zone, and co-allocation plans. Mr. Kozyra agreed to get approval
from US Cellular and contact them about possible dates to meet. The
meeting would be open to the public. The Planning Board discussed
the fact that US Cellular’s building permit has expired now and so
they would also need to come before the Marlow ZBA again.
Other
Business:
-
Since
the town voted in March to move ahead with a Capital Improvement
Program, a Capital Improvement Committee needs to be formed to
develop a list and priority of capital improvements. The committee
should include at least 2 members of the Planning Board, one member
of the Budget Committee, one member of the Conservation Commission
and possibly the Road Agent. Mr. Allen agreed to participate in the
CIP committee, and presented a sample process summary to be used as
a guideline for planning. When it appeared that scheduling another
meeting for the CIP committee was going to be difficult, the Board
determined to combine the first meeting with our regularly scheduled
Planning Board meeting in July.
The
meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. The next regular meeting of the
Marlow Planning Board will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
After taking care of any Planning Board business, the members present
will participate in the first meeting of the Capital Improvement
Committee.
