The

meeting was called to order at 7:08.
The minutes from September 12, 2006 were read and unanimously
approved as typed.
Communications
Directed to the Board:
-
Mr.
Despres read the budget notice he’d received from the Marlow
Selectmen.
-
The
board discussed the latest plans from Hal Wilkins, of Ramsey,
McLaren Planning and Engineering, in regard to the Cohen property on
Route 10. His permits
have been extended to 2010.
Reports
from Committees/Officials:
-
Selectman
Farquhar informed the Planning Board that the Selectmen have just
begun to discuss capital improvements in relation to the Master
Plan, and next year’s budget.
Planning Board members suggested that Selectmen meet with
each of the departments involved in providing services to the town
-- Fire Department, Ambulance Squad, Highway Department, etc.
Unfinished
Business:
-
The
Planning Board and
Jason Little discussed the proposed protective ordinances to limit
large-scale development in Marlow.
We spent much of the rest of the meeting in reviewing and
clarifying the needs and possible impact of the new ordinances.
When it appeared that a special work session was necessary to
fine tune the ordinances, Mr. Feuer, Mr. Puschaver, and Miss
Hazelton agreed to meet as a committee on 10/17/06, and then share
their results with the rest of the board, via mail or e-mail before
the next regular meeting.
The
meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m. The next regular meeting of the
Marlow Planning Board will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 7:00
p.m.
