Marlow Planning Board -- October 11, 2005 - Unapproved minutes of meeting Present: Trish Rogan, Joseph Feuer, and Bonnie Hazelton Absent: Ray Despres, Carla Kirsh An
informal meeting of the Marlow Planning Board was held in conjunction with the
Marlow Selectmen (meeting on this night due to a holiday on their regular
meeting night). It began at 7:10 and was completed by 7:35. At that time the
Planning Board members left and the Selectmen resumed their normal meeting. Old Business Kenneth Kozyra, the agent
for U.S. Cellular, was present to discuss the revisions requested at the most
recent meeting of the Marlow Zoning Board of Adjustment. The new maps and
diagrams show the plantings along the North and West sides of the building,
where U.S. Cellular plans to clear away the present brush, and replace with
arborvitae. The company also agreed to replace any that should die, in the
future. He also pointed out that there now will be no need for additional
utility poles, (as previously shown). All lines now will be underground. Mr. Kozyra answered
questions from the group assembled and explained that due to the lateness of the
season, construction will probably have to wait until late April or early May.
They will begin paying rent as soon as construction begins. It will take between
6 to 8 weeks to complete the construction and then an additional 2 weeks to 2
months(?) for Verizon to complete their part of the work. Before adjourning, members
of the planning board requested that Michael Puschaver be sworn in by the
Selectmen as a new member of the Planning Board. They agreed and he was duly
made a member of the Marlow Planning Board. The next regular meeting of the Marlow Planning Board will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. Submitted
