Planning Board -- April 12, 2005 /
Unapproved minutes of meeting Present: Ray Despres, Carla Kirsh, Joseph Feuer, and Bonnie Hazelton Absent: Trish Rogan The meeting was called to order at 7:10. The
minutes from February 8, 2005 were read and unanimously approved as corrected --
changing the length of time for Hazardous Waste Collection dates from “12
dates throughout the next year“ to “12 dates throughout the next 3
months.” Since Mr. Feuer is now the ex-officio member
from the Board of Selectmen, it was determined that he should no longer hold the
title of acting chairman. A motion was made, seconded and passed unanimously
that Ray Despres would serve as Chairman of the Marlow Planning Board.
Discussion followed as to the need to recruit additional members to the Board. Old Business Mr. Despres reported that he had spoken to
Mr. Dimlich regarding the concerns of neighbors brought before the Planning
Board at the last regular meeting. Mr. Dimlich intends to take care of the logs
presently next to the property line. He had also spoken to Mr. Feuer about his
intentions. Mr. Feuer reported that the Marlow Selectmen
have moved forward with plans for the Cell Tower to be constructed on Marlow
Hill. Representatives from Cellular One will be required to come before the
Planning Board, and eventually the ZBA, since their plans call for a
non-conforming use to the property. New Business The Board discussed the closure of Class 6
Roads during mud season, including the expectation of the town that property
owners keep those roads maintained to a standard of use. The Board discussed plans to update and
reprint the Zoning Ordinance book in the next few weeks. Ms. Kirsh agreed to
look into having the present book scanned. The board will then go through and
make all necessary changes based on articles voted on in all town meetings since
1986. Mr. Feuer reported that he had expected Ezekiel Jakob to be present at
tonight’s meeting, to present the new map he’s developed for the book. Both
Mr. Feuer and Mr. Despres agreed to talk to Mr. Jakob about meeting with the
Planning Board, possibly before next month’s meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Marlow Planning Board will be on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. Submitted by |
