Planning Board Minutes
February 2004

Marlow Planning Board - February 10, 2004 Unapproved minutes of meeting.

Present: Joseph Feuer, Art Schmid, Bonnie Hazelton, Ray Despres, and Carl McConnell

Absent: Jane MacLachlan

The meeting was called to order at 7:20

The minutes from January 13,2004 were read and unanimously approved as typed.

Old Business

Mr. Feuer reported that he had not been contacted by the Hendersons in regard to their request for a subdivision.

He had, however, received a copy of the continuation certificate for Arthur Cohen's captioned bond, as requested.

New Business

Steve Pinard was present to discuss his plans to open a small business on his property located on Sand Pond Rd. He intends to sell fishing tackle and bait as well as rent canoes and kayaks, during the months of May through September. He described a 12x8 shed he intends to move to his front yard, and the Planning Board discussed the 40-ft. right-of-way and 25-ft. setback restrictions, he would need to meet for placement of the shed. Parking restrictions were also clarified. Mr. Pinard stated that no customers would have to park on the road. Since Mr. Pinard's plans meet the requirements of a home business, and there were no objections from the Planning Board members, he was given approval to move ahead.

Before the meeting ended, the Planning Board discussed the proposed warrant article #7 regarding landfill closure requirements of the DES.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. There will be no regular meeting in March, due to the annual Town meetings that occur during that time.

The next regular meeting of the Marlow Planning Board meeting will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at 7:00.
