Business: We
planned the logistics of providing breakfast and luncheon foods for the
Town Meeting. We also decided that we would not have the MHS sales table
this year. Our
program for the General Meeting at 7:00 PM, April 19 at the Chapel will
be a continuation of our ongoing Marlow Oral History Project and the
topic this time will be “Wild and Wooly Weather.” We will record
Marlow citizens as they describe weather experiences here. The
Monadnock Music Dinner will be August 10 (later changed to the 11th)
this year. In addition, as the sponsors of the Monadnock Music Concert,
we will need to raise $600.00 to cover the minimum donation expected by
Monadnock Music. Our
annual “Meet the Candidates” program will be held at Perkins School
at 1 PM on March 10. Art Schmid will be the host and moderator. Mary
Blank will attend an NHHS meeting, “Disaster Planning for Historical
Societies.” In
conjunction with the HSCC project on the “Toleration Act” and
publication on Cheshire County Meeting Houses, HSCC will sponsor a
“Meeting House Open House” in May in Keene. A map of the locations
will be provided. We will participate in welcoming touring parties.
(This tour has been postponed until 2008) Respectfully submitted, Loisanne Foster |
